The Epic Conclusion
After following Galcian and Ramirez down to the buried city of Soltis, Vyse and his crew were unable to prevent the ancient city from rising. Galcian used the Rains of Destruction to wipe out Valua as a show of force. Fortunately, Enrique was saved by Belleza before the onslaught.
With news of Valua’s destruction reaching the world, Vyse formed an armada with the help of all the allies he has made in his travels, and launched a frontal assault on Soltis. Galcian stood in their way, but was heroically defeated thanks to Vyse’s attack, and the sacrifice of an ally. It was time to enter Soltis and stop Ramirez.
Ramirez summoned the silver Gigas, Zelos, to destroy his enemies. After a long battle, the Delphinus was triumphant in destroying it, and Ramirez was no more.
Peace has finally been restored to Arcadia, but for Vyse, a pirate’s spirit never dies. He continues to travel the skies, searching for adventure.
Wow! It’s really hard to come up with anything else to say. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing through this game. It’s struck so many different emotional responses throughout the story. Happiness, sadness, anger, you name it.
The final dungeon area wasn’t anything too special. There were no challenge or puzzles to get through, just a bit of running around. Knowing Ramirez was going to be a challenge, and a long, three part battle, the developers must have planned for it. The fights were challenging, but proper combos made things a lot easier in the long run.
With all the conclusions, and getting to learn what happens to the crew afterward, it really showed that this game was made with care. The characters had their own stories, both major and minor.
In conclusion, I will always remember this game. It will definitely be one I go back and play again in the future. This is one of the most well refined games of its generation, and I hope you all get a chance to enjoy it.
I will be writing up a full review down the road, so please look forward to it!
